Farrell elected to ASBSD Board of Directors

A member of the Madison Central School Board has been re-elected to a state association board.  School Board president Tom Farrell was re-elected to the Associated School Boards of South Dakota Board of Directors.  

Farrell represents the Southeast Region’s 700-1,399 enrollment category on the ASBSD Board.

Currently serving his 12th year on the Madison Central School Board, Farrell has been President or Vice President of his local board for more than 10 years. He has served on the ASBSD Board of Directors since 2014, including a term as President of the Association in 2018-19. Farrell is a retired Associate Professor from Dakota State University.

The 18-member ASBSD Board of Directors is made up of local school board members elected from four geographic regions and five enrollment size categories.
