Dakota State University in Madison is holding a Trojans Helping Trojans Giving Day event today.  Donations will be used to meet various needs of students, faculty, and staff caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, such as daily living and transportation costs, emergency and unforeseen expenses, assist with income loss, and access to reliable home internet.

Giving Day will expand the Trojans Helping Trojans program created during the fall flooding crisis in 2019, in an effort to meet challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are several activities going on Tuesday for DSU, including a Trojan Spirit Lunch, open to everyone through a Facebook event. Another event is a Happy Hour and Dance Party from 4 -6 p.m. Tuesday.  Friends of Dakota State can tune in for the Happy Hour on DSU’s Facebook page, or DSU’s YouTube channel.   The interactive event will be hosted by DSU graduate Jeremy Brech, with DJ Jer Events and Lighting Design in Sioux Falls.

More information on DSU’s Giving Day events or on how to make a donation can be found on DSU’s website.
