County approves personnel action

The Lake County Commission has approved a new member for the county’s Dive Team.  Commissioners Thursday approved Greg Zimmerman as a volunteer member of the Dive Team.  Zimmerman is a member of the Wentworth Fire Department and is a licensed and practicing EMT.  He is also certified with several of the diving requirements.  

Also on Thursday, commissioners met in executive session to discuss two personnel matters.  After the executive session, commissioners voted to accept the resignation of Robert Johnson, effective Thursday.  Commissioner Deb Reinicke acknowledged that there is already an opening within the county’s Highway Department for a Heavy Equipment Operator, but now they will be looking to fill two positions.
