Commissioners sworn in during Monday’s city commission meeting

Two new Madison City Commissioners will take their oaths of office during the commission’s regular meeting Monday.  Jeremiah Corbin and Kelly Dybdahl will be sworn into office after the commission completes it’s unfinished business on it’s agenda.  

Some of the new business on the agenda for commissioners includes the resolution establishing the powers and duties of the mayor and commissioners.  The commission will also approve a law enforcement grant application with the South Dakota Department of Public Safety for speed enforcement, and consider a grant application with the FAA for construction at the Madison City Airport.  Commissioners will also consider a professional services agreement with KLJ for that construction.

The Madison City Commission meeting begins at 5:30 Monday in the commission room in Madison City Hall.  The meeting can also be accessed through Zoom.
