A resolution approved by Madison City Commissioners in March that included temporary modifications of the city’s utilities practices will be allowed to expire.  City Utilities Director Brad Lawrence told commissioners during their meeting Monday that the resolution, which was aimed at helping out city residents affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, will no longer be in effect.

Lawrence said the resolution had stated it would be effective for a minimum of 60 days unless rescinded by a future resolution and could be extended for a longer period without additional notice. The resolution had been approved by commissioners during their meeting on March 30th.
