The Madison City Commission is postponing its discussion on a  proposal for design services for a new water building.  Commissioners had tabled the proposal from a previous meeting to Monday’s meeting, but then voted Monday to delay the proposal until next year.

The proposal was for design services by designArc Group for a new metal building to replace the current building located on Highland Avenue in Madison.

City Utilities Director Brad Lawrence told commissioners that it would be hard to get this portion of the project done this year.

Commissioner Adam Shaw made the motion to delay the discussion on the proposal for the new building until April of 2021.  The motion passed by a unanimous vote.
