City approves sidewalk repair work for 2021

The Madison City Commission has approved a resolution for sidewalk repair work that property owners will need to complete in 2021.  

City Engineer Chad Comes told commissioners during their meeting Monday that the resolution includes properties that had been inspected by the city in the Spring of 2019.

Comes said that property owners will have until July of 2021 to complete the repair work.  He said the properties are located in the southeastern part of the city.

Comes said that this sidewalk repair resolution is separate from the city’s sidewalk improvement project resolution, which was also approved by commissioners this fall.
