BankWest appoints new board members

A Madison man and two Pierre residents have been named board members for BankWest.  Russell Olson of Madison, along with Robert Burke and Rebecca Burke of Pierre, are now members of BankWest’s eleven-person board.  The Board of Directors are responsible for monitoring and assessing bank operations, establishing high-level business strategies and overseeing bank management.  

Olson currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Heartland Consumers Power District. BankWest Chairman, President and CEO Charles Burke III said that Olson is a leader in their newest BankWest market, while the Burkes represent the fifth generation of the Burke family to serve in managing the bank.
