American Red Cross Month

The month of March marks the 81st annual celebration of American Red Cross Month. The Minnesota and Dakotas Red Cross is honoring all those who provide relief during emergencies, and encouraging everyone to get involved.

As part of the celebration the Madison area will be hosting a blood drive at the Living Hope Church located at 520 NW 3rd St on March 19th from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM  

 As a thank-you for providing comfort during Red Cross Month, all who come to give blood or platelets by March 24 will get a $10 e-gift card to a pet supply merchant of choice, plus automatically be entered for a chance to win a $3,000 gift card. There will be five winners. On Wednesday, March 27, 2024, people can also join the annual Red Cross Giving Day campaign by donating at redcross.org/givingday to help provide shelter, food, relief items, emotional support and other assistance for people affected by disasters..

The American Red Cross serves around 7.3 million people across Minnesota, North and South Dakota.
