Positive COVID-19 cases today jumped by 48 to 288 total in the state.  The state Department of Health is also reporting four deaths from the virus and 91 people recovered.  Minnehaha County now has almost half of the positive coronavirus cases with 140.  

In our area, Lake County remains at one case, McCook County remains at two, and Brookings County has increased to four positive cases.  

Today’s numbers show also that 23 people have been hospitalized overall since the virus started in the state.
