Winter Storms Continue to Impact Local Sports

Mother Nature struck again yesterday, impacting many of the sports in our area. Some of the events that were originally for yesterday have new dates for when they will be played.

Both games that KJAM was scheduled to broadcast yesterday were postponed with new dates. Dell Rapids @ McCook Central/Montrose girls basketball will now be played on January 16th at 7pm. KJAM will still broadcast the game on FM 103.1.

The Madison @ Arlington girls basketball game was also postponed to Friday, January 6th with JV starting at 3:30pm and Varsity at 4:45pm. The Varsity Bulldogs game on Friday can be heard on AM 1390.

Colman-Egan Boys will now host Arlington on Thursday, January 5th at 6pm prior to the already scheduled girls game against Oldham-Ramona/Rutland. Both those games tomorrow can be heard on FM 103.1.

A Double-Header between Menno @ Howard has been rescheduled for Friday, January 6th

Freeman Academy/Marion @ ORR was also postponed, but there is no new date at this time.

The Varsity Wrestling Quad meet at Dell Rapids, featuring Dell Rapids, Madison, Vermillion, and Canton, has also been postponed. The meet will now be held on Thursday, January 26th starting at 5:30pm.
