West Central gaurd Cambell Fischer came off the bench to score 13 points, and helped to lead the Trojans to a 64-46 win over the Madison Bulldogs on Friday night. Both teams struggled to score in the first quarter, with West Central taking a 13-9 lead. The Bulldogs got to within a point in the 2nd quarter, but a late push led by Fischer and Cheyanne Masterson put the Trojans in frount by 10 at halftime. Madison got to within 7 points in the third quarter, but never closer.

The Trojan bench scored 20 points, led by 13 from Fischer. Masterson added 12 points and 9 rebounds. Cassidy Siemonsma added 15 points. Kendra Leighton scored 13 points for the Bulldogs. Zoey Gerry added 10 points and Abby Brooks 6. The Bulldogs forced 14 turnovers, but their offense was limited to just 34 percent shooting.

The Trojans improved to 9-5 with the win. The loss dropped the Bulldogs to 6-8. Madison will take on Sisseton tomorrow at 5:45 in the Madison Middle School Gym.
