Trojan Women’s Basketball Seeding & Opponent Revealed for Fourth Straight National Tournament

The #9 ranked Trojan Women’s Basketball team sat amongst their coaches, trainers, fans and parents alike at last night’s Watch Party at Stadium Sports Grill in Madison.

The show kicked off at 7pm and the Trojans were in the “Cramer” Quadrant of the bracket, which was the second quadrant to be revealed second of the four total quadrants for the tournament. The other three being Naismith, Duer and Liston.

It is the first time in school history that the Trojans appeared in the national tournament for four straight years (previously three straight times from 2006 through 2008). Dakota State will be making their tenth overall appearance in the NAIA Women’s Basketball National Tournament in school history.

Your #4 seed Dakota State Trojans (25-6 overall) will face the #13 seed Science & Arts of Oklahoma Drovers (19-10 overall) in the DSU Fieldhouse on Friday. This game will be Game 2 of the two games on Friday. Time is still TBD, but should be announced later today by DSU Athletics. 

Same goes for the other two teams playing in Madison in Game 1. Which are the No. 5 seed Grand View Vikings (27-4 overall) from Iowa. They will take on No. 12 Indiana South Bend Titans (30-1 overall) to open the tournament.

We will have the game on Friday and the Saturday game broadcast live on Jammin Country 103. Pregame for the DSU game will be 15 min prior to tipoff.
