Trojan Football Releases 2024 Schedule

Dakota State Football has released their schedule for the 2024 season. Beginning with a season home opener at the new “Blankley Field” where the Trojans will call home.

The 2024 schedule includes two non-conference contests to open the season followed by an eight-game North Star Athletic Association slate.

The annual rivalry game with Dakota Wesleyan will be at home on Aug. 29. This will also serve as the ninth annual Ag Bowl, as well as the annual Chamber of Commerce Traveling Trophy game.

This schedule is a flip-flop from last year. Along with a new face returning and Wisconsin-La Crosse no longer on the schedule. With Waldorf leaving the NSAA, Jamestown (N.D.) makes their return to the conference for the first time since the 2017-18 season. The Trojans host the Jimmies on Sept. 14 to begin the conference season, as well as that being the Trojan Days Homecoming game.

DSU will have two bye weeks again this season. Those being on Sept. 28 & Nov. 2.

The NAIA Football Championships postseason will have their opening round on Nov. 23. The postseason continues with the second round on Nov. 30, quarterfinals on Dec. 7, and the semifinals on Dec. 14.

The Championship game is scheduled for Dec. 23 at a site to be announced later.
