Madison’s New Skills Development Facility Taking Shape
The renovation of the former Runnings building on North East 3rd street is well underway. During last week’s Lake Area Improvement Corporation Annual Meeting, Director Brooke Rollag gave an update on the progress toward turning the building into a skills development facility.Â
Rollag says the building will be able to accommodate skills development in a number of different activities.Â
The former tire shop and grocery store on the property are slated for demolition. Rollag says the indoor renovations are nearing completion, with outside improvements and signage still on the way.Â
