Madison/Chester Baseball falls to Harrisburg
The Madison/Chester High School Baseball team dropped a pair of games yesterday to Harrisburg. The Bulldog offense struggled, scoring just 1 run combined in the two games, losing by scores of 2-1, and 9-0.
Madison scored their only run in the top of the first inning in game 1, as a passed ball allowed Jordan Pedersen to score. Harrisburg followed with 2 runs in the bottom of the first, and then shut out Madison the rest of the way to pick up the win.
Harrisburg put up 4 runs in the 1st inning of game two, and held Madison to just one hit on their way to the sweep of the double-header. Jonah Knuth pitched all five innings for Harrisburg, striking out 9.
Madison/Chester will host McCook Central/Montrose this Sunday.
