Madison Black tops Canton, White falls to Canistota

Madison Black 14U baseball got back in the win column on Wednesday, with a 17-0 win over Canton Gold. Madison exploded for 13 runs in the 1st. The big inning included an inside the park home run by Boyd Pooler. Braylon Oftedal had 2 hits and 2 RBI in the game. Pooler picked up the win, allowing just 2 walks in 3 innings, with 8 strikeouts.

Madison Black will be back on the diamond Wednesday, July 5th, at West Central.

Madison White 14U took a 7-6 loss to Canistota on Wednesday. Nolan Fischer, Wyatt Planting, Tucker King, and Kaysen Gust each had 2 hits for Madison. But despite the 13 hits, Madison White could score just 6 runs in the game. Canistota did most of their damage in a 5 run 6th inning.

Madison White will host Canton Blue on Wednesday.
