Lady Bulldogs Set to Return to the Court: Game Preview – Madison vs Beresford

The Madison Lady Bulldogs (0-6 overall, 0-2 Region 3A) will finally make their way back to the court when they travel to Beresford to take on the Lady Watchdogs.

Multiple postponements as of late turned a one week break into two for the Lady Bulldogs. Even though this game was supposed to happen yesterday, it did not.

Beresford

Beresford (4-2 overall, 1-1 Region 4A) has had a good start to their season. They’re a group that has a strong ability to score the basketball at 54.3 points per game. It’s a young team with just two seniors on its team.

Currently riding a three game win streak, though they’ve been without a game nearly as long as Madison has. Both of these teams could have some rust to start from their long layoff, which have limited some practice times as well. At the helm is head coach Hilary Paulson in her second season. She has a 13-14 overall record, going 3-5 in Region 4A.

Madison

For Madison, they’re still in pursuit of their first win. They’ll have another good team in their way in route to try and obtain that illustrious first victory.

They’re led in scoring by Audrey Nelson with 12.8 points per game. Madison has scored 35+ points in their last two outings. Prior to the last two games, they had only scored 35+ once this season. The scoring is picking up a bit, but it won’t matter if the turnovers don’t get under control. Which they’ll hope to have fixed to ease the rest of their season a bit more.

Tipoff is set for 7:30pm in Beresford with the pregame beginning at 7:20pm on AM 1390 Dakotas Best and KJAMRadioMadison on YouTube.
