Howard downs Ipswich in 9AA playoffs

The Howard Tigers cruised into the quarterfinals of the 9AA playoffs, with a 60-14 win over Ipswich on Thursday night. The Ipswich Tigers took the first lead of the game. After forcing a Howard punt, Max Kulesa found Kyle Hettich for a 60-yard touchdown to take a 6-0 lead. But Jackson Remmers and Howard would score the next 34 points of the game, on their way to an opening round win. 

Remmers ran for 235 yards on 14 carries for Howard. Karsyn Feldhaus added 166 yards, and Tate Miller 98. Howard will host Elkton-Lake Benton in the quarterfinals next Thursday.Â
