DSU Women’s Basketball Pair of Athletes Tabbed for CSC Academic All-District
Trojan Women’s Basketball had a pair of players tabbed for CSC Academic All-District. Those being junior Angela Slattery and sophomore Tabor Teel.t
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot, which both Slattery and Teel made the advancement to the Academic All-America ballot. Athletes need to meet the cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and complete a full year at said institution.
Slattery was named North Star Athletic Association All-Conference Honorable Mention this season for the Trojans. She finished the season with 10.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.Â
Teel reeled in All-Conference First Team, NSAA Defensive Player-of-the-Year, and NSAA All-Defense Team for DSU. She finished the season with 9.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. She also came away with 70 blocks, which is the eighth most single season blocks in DSU women’s basketball history.
