DSU Sports Information Department wins a pair of national awards

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA)-Sports Information Director Association (SIDA) announced their publications contest winners earlier this week.  Dakota State’s (S.D.) sports information department, under the direction of Nick Huntimer and specialist Maddie Kaplan along with a pair of student workers (Trojan Athletics Production Team), earned a pair of awards in the ‘Feature Videos’ category of the NAIA-SIDA Publications contest.

Dakota State won the Feature Video national award for a video tribute feature on retiring legendary men’s basketball head coach Gary Garner, created by student worker Minh Lu.
