Minnesota State-Mankato scored the first 14 points of the game and never trailed in an exhibition win over the Dakota State Men’s Basketball team on Tuesday night. The NCAA Division II Mavericks won their home opener by the score of 116-62 over the Trojans.
Mison Coilton led the Trojans with 11 points, Kenny Haynes added 10.
After the exhibition losses, the Trojans men remain 8-3 overall, and return to action next Tuesday hosting Trinity Bible at the DSU Fieldhouse. The Trojans will be looking to tie the school record of nine consecutive victories.
