Dell Rapids tops Volga Post 114 in Regions

Volga Post 114 could only score one run on their eight hits Tuesday, in a 4-1 loss to Dell Rapids in the Region 2B Legion Baseball Tournament. Dell Rapids scored the first two runs of the game without needing a base hit. Sutton Williams was hit by a pitch to drive in a run in the 2nd, and Mason Stubbe walked with the bases loaded in the 3rd to plate another run. 

Boden Schiller drove in the only run for Volga, he finished 2-for-3 on the night. Aiden Boechler led Dell Rapids with 2 hits. Drake Eastman got the win, scattering 3 hits over 4 innings with 6 strikeouts. 

Dell Rapids will await their championship opponent on Thursday night.
