Cornbelt Games Impacted By Weather

In what was supposed to be another night for Cornbelt action, Mother Nature had other plans in mind. With the rain in the forecast two games were moved.

Colman A’s and the Salem Cubs announced prior before the game was scheduled to start that they were going to postpone their game. That game has been postponed to June 21.

The Humboldt-Hartford Gamecocks were in the middle of their game against Dell Rapids PBR when they decided to postpone their game. The Gamecocks were leading 6-1 in the top of the sixth when the rain came in and originally delayed the game before both teams decided to postpone it.

The two teams will pick up where they left off when they play each other next on July 10 before their already scheduled game.

Dell Rapids PBR will host the Salem Cubs on Sunday, June 12 at 5pm, while the Gamecocks travel to Lennox to play the Alpacas at 5pm on Sunday.
