Chester Boys win BEC Meet

The Chester Area boys won 9 titles and the Team Championship on Monday, at the Big East Conference Track & Field Meet in Beresford. Jovi Wolf took 1st place in the 100, 200, and 400 meter races. He also added a 1st place performance in the long jump. Ryan Benson added 1st place finishes in the 110 and 300 meter hurdles, along with the high jump. Brock Wages won the shot put for the Fliers, with Stratton Eppard adding a win in the discus.

The team win was the first for Chester Area Boys in the BEC since 2015.

The Chester Area Girls finished in fourth place on Monday. Emery Larson took 1st in the 800 meter run, and teamed with Addison Bates, Jacy Wolf, and Katelyn Schut to win the 4×400 meter relay.

Chester will host the Region 4B Meet on Friday.
