Bulldogs Powered by a Season-High 31 points from Chuck Callahan; Dominate Cubs 76-34

The Madison Bulldogs came away with a dominating road win, taking down the Chamberlain Cubs, 76-33.

The Bulldogs, or should I say Chuck Callahan, was hot all night long. Lighting up the Cubs for 16 of his season-high 31 points in the first quarter. Knocking down four threes in the opening quarter alone. The only other Bulldog to join the scoring in the first quarter was Ben Brooks and he had just four.

With the victory, Madison improves to 6-5 overall. Callahan finished with a season-high seven made threes and the highest scoring output for Madison this season by a single player.

This game was the second time Madison scored 70+ points in a game and their second win of 30+ points. The first being at home a month ago against Deubrook Area on Dec. 19, 2023. Their 76 points is a season-high scoring mark for the Bulldogs.

The Cubs stuck around in the first half, but were held to single digits scoring in the second half. Madison held Chamberlain to a pair of four-point quarters to close out the game. They got shots up, but went completely cold.

Chamberlain was led in scoring by their lone double figure scorer, Dakota Munger. He finished with 10 points, all coming in the first half.

Along with Callahan, two other Bulldogs scored in double digits. Those being Ben Brooks with 12 and Thomas Mechels with a season-high 11 points.
