A long volleyball season, that started back in August, comes to an end this weekend in Rapid City. The Rushmore Plaza Civic Center will host all three classes of volleyball, starting today.

The Madison Bulldogs are the #7 seed in this year’s tournament, and will open play tonight at 7:15 central time against Dakota Valley. The Bulldogs have won 13 of 15 games since the start of October. Madison head coach Jill Kratovil says the season turned around when the team decided to excel in their roles.

Madison and Dakota Valley met back on October 10th, with the Panthers pulling out a close 5 set win. Coach Kratovil says the Panthers have been at the top of their game all season long.

Pregame for the Bulldogs match tonight is scheduled to start at 7pm. All three Bulldog matches from the State Tournament can be heard on AM 1390, and AmazingMadison.com
