Dell Rapids Legion falls to EPJ, still advances to championship game

The Dell Rapids Legion baseball 28-game winnings streak came to an end on Monday, with Elk Point-Jefferson defeating Dell Rapids 5-4 in the Class B State Legion tournament in Redfield. 

Elk Point-Jefferson scored three runs to tie the game in the 5th inning, before winning it in the 9th. 

Elk Point-Jefferson now advances to an elimination game against Tabor Tuesday, with the winner playing Dell Rapids for the State Championship.
