Roberta Kinzley

Roberta J. Kinzley, 84, of Salem passed away at Avantara Salem on Saturday, February 26, 2022.  A funeral mass will be held at 11 am on Monday, February 7 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Salem with visitation one hour prior.  Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Roberta Kinzley was born August 4, 1937 in Salem, SD to John F. and Patricia (Wingen) Kinzley.  She grew up in Salem and graduated from Salem High School.  She worked in Salem at various businesses including the Salem Special and Pleasant Acres as well as babysitting.  She also took care of her parents for many years when their health began to fail.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Surviviors include: her sister, Kathleen (Bill) Reif of Spencer, SD; niece and nephews, Dan (Kim Frock) Reif, Scott (Sharon) Reif, Sherry (Terry) Kirby, Gary (Lavonne) Reif and Mark (Loni) Reif; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
