Glen Larsen

Glen I. Larsen, 76, of Madison, SD passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Madison Regional Health in Madison.  A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Glenny was born in Crestwick, Victoria, Australia to Glen E. Larsen and Irene Dawn (Moneghetti) Larsen on February 23^rd, 1946.  He grew up and was educated in the Colton, SD area.  He worked numerous jobs until poor health forced him to retire.

Grateful to have shared in his life are: his wife, Elsie of Madison, SD; sons, Glen (Suzanne) Larsen and David (Amanda) Larsen all of Howard, SD and Shawn Larsen of Madison; daughters, Tina (Steve) Dufort of Alabama and Cindy (Mark) McCoy of Indiana; mother, Irene Dawn Larsen of Sioux Falls, SD; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Sam (Julie Christiansen) Larsen and Ron (Crystal) Larsen all of Sioux Falls and Jon (Michelle) Larsen of Brandon, SD; sisters, Val (Butch) Koepp of Keystone, SD, Denise (Steve) Hanson of Sioux Falls, SD and Eileen (Joe) Stansbury of Crooks, SD; as well as a host of nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen E. Larsen, his grandparents, a son, Christopher Larsen, nephew, Josh Stansbury and brother-in-law, Kenny Hanson.
