Alice Kirby, 75, of Salem passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Ava’s House Hospice in Sioux Falls, SD.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 15 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.  Visitation with family present will be held from 5-7 pm on Friday, January 14 at Kinzley Funeral Home in Salem.

Alice Brown was born December 28, 1946 in Bridgewater, SD to Fred and Darlene (Perry) Brown.  On September 18, 1965 she married Don Kirby.

Alice was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.  She loved cats and horses and spent time painting pictures.  In her earlier days she enjoyed camping and fishing as well.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Alice is survived by: her husband, Don of Salem; children, Ronald Johnson of Salem, Laurie Kirby of Sioux Falls, Shannon (Ryan) Kaczynski of Geneseo, ND and Tishal Kirby of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Melody (Joseph) Menge, Christine Manikowski, Joline Manikowski, Tristin (Jill) Manikowski, Gracie Kaczynski, Jana Kaczynski, Jered Kaczynski and Derek Kaczynski; four great-grandchildren, Paxton and Parker Menge and Kinsley and Dane Manikowski; brothers, Jerry (Diane) Brown and Steve (Linda) Brown as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
