Addisyn Sue Lauck, 11, of Salem passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Children’s Hospital in Omaha, NE.  Funeral services will begin at 11 am on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the McCook Central Auditorium.  Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Monday with a 7 pm prayer service also at the Auditorium.

Addisyn Lauck was born January 19, 2010 at Avera Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD to Adam and Peggy (Ordal) Lauck.  She lived on a farm near Salem and attended McCook Central School.  She also attended Christ Lutheran Church in Salem with her family.

Addisyn was a very kind and big-hearted girl who loved her parents and brother with all her heart.  She was also a very busy girl being active in softball, basketball, showing dairy cattle in 4-H, baking and was always willing to help on the farm and with the chickens.  She loved being outside, swimming, riding bikes and especially when she was with her kitties.  Addisyn was very creative and crafty and loved camping with her friends and family.  She will be missed dearly by her family and many friends.

Addisyn is survived by:  her parents, Adam and Peggy of Salem; her brother, Bradyn of Salem; her grandma, Loretta Lauck of Salem; her grandpas, Donald Ordal (Jody) of Colton and Randy Hanson of Sturgis; her great-grandmas, Evelyn Carlson and Johanna Vanheerde of Colton; her aunts and uncles, Mark (Kat) Lauck, Kay (Curt) Luitjens, Jenni (Scott) Klitzke, Michael Ordal, Tabitha (Pat) Stofferahn, Adam (Amber) Ordal, and Patrick Ordal; as well as many cousins.  She was preceded in death by her grandpa, Richard Lauck and grandma, Sue Hanson.
