MHS Golfers Lose First Dual of the Year to Vermillion

The Madison Girls golf team hosted their first dual of the season on Tuesday, taking on Vermillion at the Madison Country Club. The Tanagers Ronnie Wilharm was the medalist, shooting a low score of 86. Georgia Johnson shot an 89 to help Vermillion to a team score of 362.

The Bulldogs were led by Maddi Rummel who shot a 94. Rummel struggled on the back nine, but had the low round of the day on the front with a 38. Hayden Oftedal fired a 96 and Delilah Maxwell a 98 for the Bulldogs, who had a team score of 389.

Macie Rinehart and Penelope Corbin led the Bulldogs JV team, each shooting a 108. Isabelle Henry had a 109.
