Madison Volleyball Advances To The SoDak 16

The Madison Volleyball team advanced to the SoDak 16, picking up a 3-1 win over Parkston in Region 5A play. Set Scores were: 25-14, 25-15, 21-25 and 25-16. In the first two sets, Madison would pull away midway through each set and led 16-8 in set three before the visiting Trojans made their move. Parkston rallied for eight straight to tie the set and then led from there-on-out. The fourth set saw Madison grab early momentum and wrapped up the night with a convincing win in the set.

Sophia Vanden Bosch (17) and Abby Brooks (23) were both in double-digits for the Lady Bulldogs, who improved to 15-4. Madison has received the number eight seed in the SoDak 16 and will host Aberdeen Roncalli on Tuesday night.
