Madison Losses Homecoming Game Against SF Christian

In their homecoming game last night, the Madison Bulldogs football team dropped another close game after losing 34-28 to the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers.

After a scoreless first quarter, the Chargers got on the board first with a 38-yard touchdown pass from Tayton Snyder to Carter VanDonge. The two would connect again at the start of the third quarter for 45 yards.

Heading into halftime, the Chargers seemed to take the air out of the stadium with a pass completed to Cole Snyder, who lateraled it back to James Woodward, giving SFC the 21-7 lead into the half.

The loss put the Bulldogs at 1-3 on the season, and 0-3 at home.

Brooks had 120 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, while also passing for 149 yards and a touchdown to Veenhoff. Veenhoff led the Bulldogs in receiving with 9 catches, 98 yards, and a score.

For the Charger, Snyder had 322 yards passing, 222 coming in the first half, along with three passing touchdowns.
