Madison Gets Swept by Chester

The Madison Bulldogs volleyball team traveled down to Chester last night and got swept in three sets. 

Chester was able to control most of the match, winning the first two sets over Madison by a score of 25-17 in both sets. They then closed it out in the third set 25-14 to get the sweep, beating Madison 3-0.

Audrey Nelson had a double-double on the night leading Madison in kills with 12, being the lone Bulldog with double-digit kills. She also had ten digs and five blocks on the night.

Amanda Vacanti followed Nelson in kills, registering eight, and also had nine digs. Callie McDermott led the Bulldogs in digs with 14. 

Leading the way for Chester was Lily Vanthal and Jacy Wolf. Vanthal ended the night with 11 kills, 16 digs, 17 assists, and two aces. Wolf meanwhile followed with 10 kills, 20 assists, and three aces. 

Madison will next play tomorrow in the Dak XII Conference meet being played at West Central High School, starting at 9am.
