Madison Finish Day 1 of Class “A” Girls State Golf Championship

The Madison Girls finished the first day of the Class “A” Girls Golf Championship in 8th place as a team out of 13 teams to participate.

For the individuals for Maidson, Abby Palmquist is tied with Caitlyn Cradduck of Sioux Valley for 31st place, with 97 strokes and Eleni Sims is right behind her teammate in 33rd place, 98 strokes.

Alison Vacanti is in a three-way tie for 47th with 104 strokes, followed by teammates Olivia Flemming in 50th place with 105, and Julia Dossett in a three-way tie for 51st, getting 106 strokes. 

The girls will be back on the course this morning, with things starting back up at 8:00 AM.

Eleni Sims will be the first Madison golfer to take the course at Hole 1 at 8:20 this morning, and then Abby Palmquist will be right behind her starting at 8:30. 

Julia Dossett will start at 9:20 AM, followed by Olivia Flemming at 9:30 AM, and Alison Vacanti at 9:40. All three will start at the Hole 10.
