Fresh off their biggest win of the season on Friday over Dakota Valley, the Madison boys returned home Saturday and picked up a 61-46 win over Sisseton. The Bulldogs built up a ten point lead by the end of the 1st quarter, but struggled to score in the 2nd quarter. Sisseton closed the Madison lead to just two points at halftime, but Madison found it’s offense again in the 3rd to build up another double-digit lead.

Tyler Tappe had a double-double for the second game in a row, scoring 19 points with 11 rebounds. Carter Begheim added 16 points and 7assists, while Cody Brown 9 points and 9 rebounds.

The win improved the Bulldogs record to 14-5. Madison will play their final game of the regular season on Monday, at home, against Milbank. The Bulldogs will then wait for the start of the Region 5A playoffs, on March 6th.
