Lady Bulldogs Capture Fifth Place At Class A Tournament
For the second year in-a-row, the Madison Volleyball team captured the consolation championship, defeating Rapid City Christian in straight sets on Saturday. After an opening round loss to eventual champion Sioux Falls Christian, the Lady Bulldogs put together two solid performances. Set scores from Saturday were: 25-23, 25-21 and 25-13. The first two sets were nip and tuck, the third was controlled by Madison. Abby Brooks, who was named to the all-tournament team, finished with 22 kills, Sophia Vanden Bosch had 14 digs, nine kills and five service aces.Â

Madison finished with an 18-5 record on the season and played in their fourth state tournament in the last five seasons.Â
