The Madison Bulldogs hosted the Castlewood Warriors on Thursday afternoon, part of the 2020 Michael J. Entringer Classic. The Bulldogs would ultimately come away with a 73-43 win on their home court. The two sides traded early runs and with things knotted at 12, a three pointer from Carter Bergheim gave the Bulldogs the lead and momentum started to build from there. Bergheim ended up with 23 first half points (and was named game MVP) as Madison had a 42-23 at halftime.

The host Bulldogs would rotate in a large volume of players throughout the contest, which ultimately led to fast break opportunities and playing more open offensively. Connor Hively would finish with 12 points in the game and Aspen Dahl chipped in 11 for Madison. The Bulldogs improved to 3-1 on the season and will be back in action on Saturday, taking on Lakota Tech at the Corn Palace. They will be preceded by the Lady Bulldogs, who at 1:30pm will play Custer. Both games can be heard on AM1390.
