Bulldogs Close Out Dak 12 Tournament in Seventh Place
The Madison Bulldogs volleyball team competed in the Dak XII Tournament held at West Central High School over the weekend, and entered the tournament as the sixth seed.
In the first match for the Bulldogs, they faced off against the 11th seed Vermillion Tanagers and won to advance to the next round. Round Two for Madison was not as favorable, facing third seeded Canton and losing to the C-Hawks and dropping the Bulldogs to the Consolation Bracket.Â
Madison opened up their consolation round by winning against Tri-Valley. However, they lost to Tea in the next round, knocking the Bulldogs out of the tournament and finishing seventh out of the eight placing teams.Â
Sioux Falls Christian won the Dak 12 tournament after going in as the number one seed.Â
The Bulldogs will return to regular season action tomorrow for a home match against Dell Rapids. The game can be heard on AM 1390 at 7pm.Â
