Bulldogs Basketball Team Awards

The Madison Boys basketball team recently announced their team awards, and Senior Aiden Jensen was named as the Team MVP.

Jensen, who recently signed his letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Mount Marty, was named as the Bulldogs Most Valuable Player, Offensive Player of the Year, and also the Defensive Player of the Year.

Along with Andrew Comes, Jensen also won the team’s Leadership Award. More of Jensen’s achievements can be found here.

Team Captains for this past season were Jensen, Comes, Eli Barger, Chuck Callahan, and Ben Brooks

Hustler Award went to Eli Barger and Shane Veenhoff won the JV Team MVP. Adonis Rodriguez was named both the Most Improved Player and the C Team MVP.

Friend of Basketball Award was awarded to Mike Materese, which is presented by the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association.

Dak XII Conference awards for the Bulldogs went to both Jensen and Brooks, as Jensen was named First Team All-Conference and Brooks named Third Team All-Conference.
