Bulldog Varsity Baseball Went 2-0 in Pair of Games Sunday

The Madison Bulldogs traveled to Huron on Sunday for a couple of games.

In the first game the Madison Bulldogs defeated Huron 11-0 as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout.  Ty Jorgenson earned the win for the Bulldogs. Jorgenson allowed six hits and no runs over five innings, striking out six.  Peyton Wolf threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

The  Bulldogs scattered ten hits in the game. Aspen Dahl and Allbee each managed multiple hits for Madison . Dahl led Madison Bulldogs Varsity with four hits in five at bats.  Madison smacked one home run on the day. Logan Allbee put one out in the fourth inning.

In the second game of the day, the Bulldog  sailed to an easy victory over Castlewood/Deuel 13-1. 

The Bulldogs scored six runs in the fourth inning.  The five batters contributing to the big inning included Braden Eimers, Mason Kennington, Braxton Bjorklund, Ty Jorgenson, and Lucas Mork as all drove in runs in the inning.

Ashton Nills got the win for Madison Bulldogs Varsity. The lefthander went five innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out nine and walking zero.

The Bulldogs will be in MIller tonight for a 7pm game against Miller/Highmore/Harrold.
