Aaron Hawkes and Audrey Nelson Set Meet Records at Region 3A Meet

Madison Central School District

The Madison Bulldogs had four event winners, including a new school record, at the Region 3A Track and Field meet earlier this week. Both boys and girls teams for Madison finished third.

The Bulldogs boys team finished third, scoring 90 team points, and the Lady Bulldogs also finished third with 89 team points.

Aaron Hawkes, who had previously broken the school Pole Vault record, broke his own record along with the meet record after his first place vault of 15’.

Audrey Nelson also set a new meet record in the High Jump with her first place jump of 5’5.

Other first place finishes went to Shane Veenhoff in the boys 300m Hurdles, clocking a time of 42.13, and Lydia Nelson in the girls Triple Jump after a 36′ 3 1/4″ leap.
