Sen John Thune hosting roundtable at DSU

Senator John Thune is hosting a data privacy roundtable discussion at Dakota State University’s campus on Friday. 

Sen. Thune will chair the event, along with DSU President José-Marie Griffiths. Eight panelists will address this topic, individuals from banking, healthcare, education, research, and federal agencies.

They will offer their experience and opinions on topics including data security threats, workforce considerations, strategies to prevent and manage breaches, ethical concerns, emerging technologies, and regulation and compliance requirements.

The event will take place from 10:15 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. at the Dakota State University, Beacom Institute of Technology Collaboration Center and the public is invited to attend.
