Madison City crews continue flood cleanup efforts

Madison city crews are making their way through the city for a second time picking up additional flood debris from residences.  Crews are planning to start collecting appliances and metal from residences today also. All appliances must be completely cleaned out before city crews will pick them up.  Crews are also asking for everyone’s cooperation as they continue their clean-up efforts and allow them room to maneuver. They also ask that people avoid parking in front of any piles of debris so that they are able to get to them to pick them up.  

If any city or Lake County residents need to use the Restricted Use site for their flood related items, a reminder that it is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 until noon, and from 1:00 until 4:00, and also on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
