Madison City Commission meeting Tuesday

The Madison City Commission is holding its regular meeting today instead of Monday because of the President’s Day holiday.

On the agenda for the city commission is the hearing on and adoption of a resolution regarding notice of intent to lease real property.  The resolution states that the city intends to enter into a lease for agricultural land with Tim Bird near the Madison Airport.  The commission will also review and take action on a Request for Proposals for the city’s generator plant operating system update.

Commissioners also have a number of items for approval on their consent calendar during today’s meeting.  Some of those include setting the bid dates for the city’s water main improvement project and sidewalk improvement project for 2022.

The Madison City Commission meets at 5:30 today in the commission room in Madison City Hall.  The meeting is also accessible through Zoom.
