Friday is deadline for Madison City and Madison Central School Board nominating petitions

This Friday is the deadline for nominating petitions to be filed for the Madison City and Madison Central School Board elections.

So far, four people have filed nominating petitions for the three seats open on the Madison Central School Board this year.  Kirsti Meyer, Jordan Schuh, Lynsee Planting, and incumbent board member Tom Farrell have all submitted their petitions for one of the three, three-year seats on the school board.

In the Madison City election, two people have filed nominating petitions for the Mayor’s position, which is the only position open this year.  Roy Lindsay and incumbent Mayor Marshall Dennert have each submitted petitions to be on the ballot for the three-year Mayor’s position.

Both the Madison City and Madison Central School Board elections will be held on Tuesday, April 12th. Â
