County Commission Meeting

The Lake County Commission held their second meeting of the month yesterday. Items at the meeting were the commission signing a resolution to support the designation of Chief Deputy Ken Prorok Memorial Highway which Administrative Officer Shelli Gust spoke more on 

The Commission also held their first reading of Ordinance number 24-84 which will reduce the speed limit to 35 on portions of 455th Ave/ S. Washington Ave Gust has more.

Other items discussed at the meeting were establishing labor rates for the highway department. The county also accepted a proposal from The Road Guy Construction Company Inc for a 2024 chip sealing project.

The next Lake County Commission meeting will be held on May 7th at 9:00 AM at the lake county courthouse in the commission room
