The Madison City Commission has set the date for the city’s annual election for 2021.  Commissioners Monday approved setting the election date for April 13th, and will invite the Madison Central School Board to participate in a joint election on that date.

There are two seats up for election on the Madison City Commission this year.  The terms of Public Safety Commissioner Mike Waldner and Public Works Commissioner Bob Thill expire this year.  Commissioners serve three-year terms.

According to the Secretary of State’s website, nominating petitions for the two commission seats can start being circulated on January 29th and will need to be filed by February 26th.
